I don’t share much of my personal work on this website.  However, these photos make me so happy, I just couldn’t resist sharing them!

Last weekend, one of my best friends, Sarah, came to visit me in Columbia with her daughter, Eleanor.  Sarah and I went to high school together, and then lost touch for a few years before reconnecting when we were both pregnant with our daughters.  Then, our girls were born only one day apart, and our friendship continued to grow as we supported each other through the ups and downs of new motherhood.  Now, our daughters are 2.5 years old, and we continue to laugh, swap toddler anecdotes, and encourage each other through potty training and the “terrible twos”.

In addition to being my friend and mother to my daughter’s “twin”, Sarah is also a talented photographer.  (You can see her website, Sarah Mason Photography, here!)  As you might imagine, there are many, many photos taken when the two of us get together.  During Sarah and Eleanor’s visit last weekend, we took a trip to Shelter Gardens for an afternoon of photo playtime with our girls.  I just love all of the photos, I could barely narrow them down for this blog post!

And, Sarah took some adorable photos of me with my daughter, Evelyn.
