Chrissie and Alex were married in a beautiful outdoor ceremony in downtown Columbia, Missouri, followed by a gorgeous reception at the historic Tiger Hotel. Chrissie and Alex chose not to see each other before their ceremony, instead waiting to see each other for the first time as Chrissie walked down the aisle.
Chrissie and her bridal party got ready at the Tiger Hotel, before heading to the Mizzou campus and Peace Park for bridal portraits and some pre-ceremony photos with her friends and family. After her bridal portraits, we traveled to the Boone County Government Center so that Chrissie could hide out until it was time for the ceremony!
Alex and Chrissie’s outdoor ceremony was held in the Boone County Courthouse Square. Chrissie’s father escorted her down the aisle, and the look on her and Alex’s faces as they saw each other for the first time was priceless! After their touching ceremony, they and their guests walked back to the Tiger Hotel for dinner, drinks, and dancing — including live music from the Kay Brothers! It was an incredible day, ending with an amazing evening of dancing and celebrating with the happy couple.
Alex and Chrissie, thank you again for choosing me to photograph your special day. You both were absolutely wonderful, and it was such an honor to be included! Wishing you many, many years of happiness! <3
